Family Guy on DVD

First created in 1999, Family Guy is an animated comedy which puts hilarious twists on the average American family. Some would say that this show is very offensive and rude, but most think that it is hilarious. Family Guy was created by Seth MacFarlane. It airs on Fox and many other channels as well. Family Guy was canceled a few times, but reasons such as booming DVD sales convinced Fox to play it again.

Family Guy is available in six volumes, with a seventh coming out on June 16, 2009. The number of episodes in each volume ranges from 13 to 28. The new volume coming out will have a total of 13 episodes. As well as many episodes, each set also includes many special features such as interviews with the cast, and deleted scenes. The DVD’s are also uncensored, unlike the television version of this show. As well as the regular seasons on DVD, there is also a wide range of other Family Guy materials available. An example of one of these is Blue Moon, the Family Guy version of Star Wars. There is also a Family Guy movie called “Stewie Griffen: The Untold Story.”
